Our Approach
"Adding New Dimension to Lumber" - over the years, those words have guided Midwest Lumber and Dimension to our current position as one of the country's premiere providers of high-quality dimension lumber.
In an increasingly competitive industry, Midwest has the people, the products and the technology to meet even the most stringent demands for dimension lumber.
Our History
Midwest Lumber and Dimension was established in 1986 as a wholesale supplier of green lumber. But by 1990, it was clear to owner David Davis that changes were transforming the industry. The enormous expansion of the kiln drying business caused the price disparity between green and kiln-dried lumber to shrink dramatically.
Rather than enter the dry kiln arena, Davis made the decision to refocus his company's energies on dimension lumber. This commitment has seen the company continually invest in the latest technology, and our fully-equipped Bremen production facility has expanded over the years to 70,000 square feet.
